UNC-TV and the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Educational Foundation presented the lone debate of the 2020 election between Governor Roy Cooper and Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest on October 15.
The debate covered a variety of topics including storm recovery, teacher pay and the state budget. But the state’s COVID-19 response was the forefront of the hour-long event.
