Dare County reports seven new positive COVID-19 cases, all under 24 years old

Dare County Health and Human Services reported seven new positive coronavirus tests on Monday, for a total of 424 since testing began in March.

All but one of Monday’s positive cases are Dare County residents. Six are local residents between the ages of 18 and 24 and the seventh is a child under 17 who does not live in Dare County.

Dare County has now seen 424 positive cases since testing began in March. Of those, 27 are considered active, with one person hospitalized.
