Vidant Health increases visitation limits at The Outer Banks Hospital and other facilities

Vidant Health, operator of The Outer Banks Hospital, has increased its limits on visitors due to the spread of COVID-19 around the state, as well as the high number of people with other respiratory viruses.

Starting immediately, visitors to any Vidant Health hospital, emergency department or clinic, visitors must be over the age of 16, an immediate family member and not experiencing any symptoms of illness

Only one person at a time may visit a patient or accompany a patient to an appointment.
