Award-winning Chowan County Regional Fair returns for traditional fall fun – OBX Today

The 78th annual Chowan County Regional Fair has returned for 5-days of heart-racing rides, mouth-watering food, vendors, booths, livestock, and more at the Chowan County Fair Grounds located at 1317 W Queen St. in Edenton, North Carolina. The 2024 fair is currently being held through Tuesday, September 24 to Saturday, September 28.

General admission is $8 for those 36″ and taller, and $20 for those seeking a wrist-band for unlimited rides. Tickets can either be purchased at the gate, or online by visiting the Fair’s website. Admission specials are being offered throughout the week including Thursday in which all seniors (60+) can enter for free.

Among this year’s exciting attractions is the “Tiger Encounter” exhibition where exotic bengal tigers, as well as a rare white lion will be performing with the youngest and only performing female tiger trainer in the United States.

The gates to the fairground open each day at 4 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.
