An election Q&A town hall will take place this Thursday in Manteo at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center promptly at 6:30 p.m.
The North Carolina Network for Fair, Safe, and Secure Elections is hosting this event as part of the Trusted Elections Tour to provide local information to voters ahead of the general election.
The town hall will address public concerns about electronic voting machines and hacking, fears around non-citizens voting, explain the secure process for collecting and counting votes, and advise on how challenges, recounts, and fraud allegations are dealt with through proper legal channels. Panelists will include election officials, cybersecurity experts, and election law attorneys from both sides of the aisle.
