Dare County, in partnership with Current TV, has released a new video highlighting the village of Manns Harbor, a small unincorporated community tucked between the shores of the Croatan Sound and the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge on the Dare County mainland.
The video, which offers viewers an overview of the unique community of approximately 1,000 residents whose history and heritage can be traced back for several centuries, is also part of a new Current TV video series called “Discover Hidden Dare” that is designed to highlight the unincorporated areas of Dare County.
Discover the wide array of amenities and recreational opportunities that are available in Manns Harbor—such as the Manns Harbor Marina and Bebops Multi-Use Pier, which provide prime locations for boating, fishing, crabbing and wildlife viewing—as well as the Manns Harbor Community Building, Manns Harbor Volunteer Fire Department and the new facility for Dare County EMS Station 8 that is currently under construction and expected to be completed in the summer of 2025.
