On April 14, 2024 at approximately 11: 57 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen in the area of Chicora Court of Manteo (Roanoke Island) that saw a person leaving the scene of a motor vehicle breaking and entering. The citizen provided a description and the direction the suspect went. Deputies and Sheriff’s Office K9 Units searched several areas and located the subject in Manteo. The following suspect was arrested.
Alexander Evans Quidley, 31, of Colington was charged with (F) Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Quidley is currently being held at the Detention Center with no bond.
