Are you in search of the perfect fur-ever friend? A new addition to the family, perhaps? OBX Today in partnership with the Outer Banks SPCA is proud to present “Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays.”
Each Tuesday, browse our provided selection of videos and images and follow along as we showcase a variety of pets that are currently awaiting adoption at our local animal shelter.
This week’s featured pets are Brodie, Rancher, Branch, Love Bug, Cali & Demi, and Levi. Verbiage is provided by shelter manager Leann Saunders:
Brodie is a little over a year old and enjoys the company of other cats! He is currently at Petsmart hoping to get adopted!
Rancher is about 10 months old. He was brought into our care from Currituck Animal Shelter as they no longer had enough space for him. Rancher does well free roaming with other cats, is very vocal and lets you know how happy he always is and loves to play. His favorite toy is a scratch post!
Branch is only about 5 months old and is CUTE as can be!!
Love Bug is about 3 and a half years old. She is a little nervous in this environment but loves to cuddle in her kennel.
Cali and Demi came in together and are 10 and 12 years old. Their owner passed away and left them to a family member who could not keep them but tried to rehome them and was not successful. Cali and Demi are a bonded pair and all their owner wanted was for them to not end up at the shelter. We are looking for an urgent foster to be able to help her wishes come true and see that these two seniors get to live the rest of their life in a loving home.
Levi is about 8 months old and the most handsome boy ever! He seems to do well with other cats!
