Currituck Chamber of Commerce honors exceptional contributions at annual meeting and awards ceremony – OBX Today

The Currituck Chamber of Commerce gathered in a celebration of excellence and community impact during its annual meeting and awards ceremony hosted at OBX West KOA Event Center, showcasing a celebration of excellence and community impact. Chamber President Josh Bass delivered an economic status briefing, spotlighting essential aspects like housing, sewer, employment, and the host of remarkable assets within Currituck, NC. Bass told attendees, “that the community needed to have a voice in the growth and development of Currituck County and the region. That the community is at a critical crossroads, and we need to determine what path we want to take and it’s vital for all to be involved in the conversation.”

This prestigious event also recognized outstanding individuals and businesses for their significant contributions to the local community. Josh Bass, Chamber President said “Congratulations to all the 2023 Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award winners! Each recipient embodies the essence of excellence, innovation, and dedication in their field. Their remarkable achievements serve as an inspiration, reflecting the vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to success within our local business community.”

Outgoing board member Lynn Davis was commended for eight years of dedicated service on the Currituck Chamber board of Directors.
