First Friday in Downtown Manteo debuts Art Walk on Friday, April 1


The First Friday in Downtown Manteo is set to begin promptly at 6pm on Friday, April 1 with a brand new addition in store for the 2022 season.

The Dare County Arts Council is excited to announce its debut First Friday Manteo Art Walk, featuring celebrations, specials, live music, art, and MORE inside Manteo galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Each month different businesses will be participating in the First Friday Art Walk. This months participants are as follows:

  • Dare County Arts Council
  • Downtown Books
  • The Island Shop Boutique
  • Lost Colony Brewery and Cafe
  • Mermaids 
  • NouVines
  • Poor Richard’s Sandwich Shop
  • Sam & Winston
  • That Art Place
  • Wanchese Pottery
  • Water Street Studio
The Dare County Arts Council will also have Troy Breslow & The Company Band playing folk and blues music in The Courtyard, the opening reception for Tansy and Hugh O’Bryant’s ceramics exhibit in the Vault Gallery, and the Outer Banks History Weekend Symposium’s exhibit Searchers Of New Horizons on display in the Courtroom Gallery.
