The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, for Sea Swept Road at the intersection with West Third Street for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
Traffic on Sea Swept Road at the north side of the intersection will be prohibited during this closure. Local traffic will access Sea Swept Road from the north using Clam Shell Drive.
Upper Dune Road to the east of the closure can be used to detour from West Third Street to Clam Shell Drive and on to Sea Swept Road. West Third Street will remain open throughout the closure.
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
