Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperation (CHEC) will require a planned power outage in Avon and the Tri-villages on Tuesday, March 15, in order to replace a three-pole structure between Salvo and Avon.
The power outage scheduled for Tuesday is as follows:
- Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon will experience a 5-minute outage at 7:15 a.m. There will also be a brief outage after the replacement is complete. The rain date for the work is Wednesday, March 16.
