Mark McCleary, owner of Northern Lights Bakery in Corolla, passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving day.
“His presence will (be) profoundly missed. Every one of you brought him joy walking through the doors of the bakery! We are forever grateful for him. Until next time. We love you forever Mark McCleary,” reads a post Monday on the bakery’s Facebook page.
McCleary leaves behind his wife Kristina, daughters Bailey and Peyton, his mom “Grandma Pat” and a whole community of friends and fans of “Cheffy” Mark.
A GoFundMe has been established to assist family members traveling from Arizona, California and Canada to be with the McCleary’s.
“We just want to say thank you to each and everyone of you for reaching out. This is an amazing community and we feel so loved! Love you all,” Kristina said.
