Albemarle Regional Health Services will be holding COVID -19 vaccine first and second dose clinics this coming weeks on a first-come, first-served basis.
ARHS is asking that only individuals who live in their service region covering eight counties in northeastern North Carolina and meet the current priority groups attend the clinics for first doses, which includes healthcare workers (group 1) and individuals age 65 and older (group 2).
Wednesday, January 27 – 9 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 4 p.m.
Bertie County High School, Windsor
Camden Intermediate School, Camden
Chowan – American Legion Fairgrounds, Edenton
Pasquotank County High School, Elizabeth City
Thursday, January 28 – 9 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 4 p.m.
Currituck – Maple Park, Maple
Gates – Gates County Health Department, Gates
Hertford Co. – Ahoskie Creek Amphitheater, Ahoskie
Pasquotank – College of The Albemarle, Elizabeth City
Perquimans County Recreation Center, Hertford
Second dose clinics for those who received the Pfizer vaccines on or before January 7 will be available in Elizabeth City and Currituck this week. No first doses will be offered at these clinics.
The date on your card noting when your second dose is due is the suggested date you should receive your second dose. It can be administered after that date, or four days prior to that date. The series will not need to be restarted if you receive it after that date.
You will need to bring the vaccine card you received with your first dose with you to this clinic. If you do not have your
card, you may experience additional delays, or may be turned away and rescheduled because we have to verify your first
dose for your safety.
