The Outer Banks was the backdrop for a General Motors commercial shoot on Tuesday, and travelers along N.C. 12 on Hatteras Island got a quick glimpse of the star.
Very brief closures of Highway 12 took place throughout the day, as Anne Towers Production Company of Los Angeles shot the ad on portions of the Outer Banks Scenic Byway.
While filming locations were scheduled to be anywhere between the Marc Basnight Bridge and Hatteras Village, it seems that principal photography took place on and near the bridge over Oregon Inlet.
And while it wasn’t announced which vehicle was being featured, dashcam video shot by Moose shows what is believed to be the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV.
