Podcast: Pumpkin patch, living history activities coming up at Island Farm

Island Farm on Roanoke Island tells the real story of the hardscrabble life of those who first settled here – after the Lost Colony, and before the Civil War and the Wright Brothers first flight.

You’ll find live demonstrations including everything from traditional agricultural, blacksmithing, food preparation, hearth cooking, weaving and spinning wool, feeding the animals, and so much more.

Island Farm manager Ann Daisey joined us on OBX Today on News Talk 92.3 WZPR to talk more about this unique historic site.
