Ahead of the 2020 election, Frontline’s critically acclaimed series “The Choice” returns with interwoven investigative biographies of President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.
The 2-hour special examines the defining moments that shaped their lives, their approach to power, and their visions for America’s future at this pivotal juncture.
It will premiere locally on UNC-TV and WHRO-TV Tuesday at 9 p.m., and will be available to watch in full at pbs.org/frontline and in the PBS Video App starting at 7 p.m.
From veteran chronicler of U.S. politics Michael Kirk, who with his team has made four prior installments of The Choice and nearly 20 documentaries about the Trump and Obama eras, this two-hour special will be a unique primer for voters on the eve of the election — and a guide to what Americans can expect from the president who will be sworn in on January 20, 2021 to lead a country in crisis.
