The North Carolina Department of Transportation plans to begin a repaving project along the length of South Old Oregon Inlet Road in South Nags Head next week
The road that runs from Whalebone Junction to the town’s southern border will be milled and receive a new coat of asphalt.
The project is expected begin on Monday, and take about three weeks.
