Jack Piddington of Kill Devil Hills caught and released a 44-inch red drum while fishing off the end of Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head on Sunday night. On Monday, anglers were catching with some small gray trout, spot, croaker, pompano, sea mullet and sand perch. The ocean water temperature was 75 degrees Monday morning.
